Eligibility criteria
In addition to the general eligibility requirements outlined below, each PhD position may have specific eligibility criteria defined by the recruiting host institution. These may include academic qualifications, disciplinary backgrounds, or other locally determined conditions. Applicants are therefore encouraged to carefully review the requirements specified in each individual call.
All applicants must also comply with the European Union eligibility rules applicable to this project. The key EU requirements are summarized below:
- You must not already hold a doctoral (PhD) degree at the time of recruitment.
- You must be eligible for admission to the doctoral programme at the institution where the PhD position is advertised.
- You are expected to work full-time on the project during your employment.
- You must comply with the MSCA mobility rule: you must not have lived, worked, or studied in the country of the recruiting institution for more than 12 months during the 36 months immediately before the recruitment date.
How to apply
All DC positions will be advertised on both EURAXESS and this page. Applications must be submitted through the local application portal of the recruiting institution. Please check back regularly for updates.
